She Should Not Ask For Divorce For No Legit Reason:

Aboo Hurayrah narrated the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said:

Any woman who asks her husband for divorce for no reason, the fragrance of Paradise will be forbidden [haraam] to her.

  1. Assalamu Aleikum

It would have been much more beneficial for you to post the benefits and rewards and example of being a good wife. All theses advice’s that you have given are warnings and work when a wife is going off limits and not behaving properly. For all those women who are good wives, your advice’s only demotivates them. Have you considered making a series of posts about the benefits and rewards of being a good wife? i.e. looking on the brights side instead of bombarding women with warnings and punishments in the hereafter life.

    • Wassalaamu ‘alaykum,

      1) I apologise if anyone was offended by my posts, my intention is only to advice not to offend or demotivate.

      2) If you know of any articles which I can post up which would act as a motivation to sisters, please do share the links so I can post them up.

      3) Sometimes the prophet (saw) used to give general statements to all of the female companions when speaking. An example of this is during the ‘Eid sermon when he (saw) said “O women give in charity for it is most of you (women) who will end up in hell.” and then they started giving in their jewelry as charity to Bilaal who was going around and collecting them. So here the Prophet (saw) was speaking these words to a group of women (in actual fact it was the entire population of muslim women from Madeenah), and no doubt there were pious wives who included the likes of Faatimah, ‘Aa’ishah etc. So at times he (saw) spoke to everyone even tho only a portion of them were intended. The concept here is to warn those who are disobedient, and to deter those who are obedient from becoming obedient.

      4) Again, I apologise if these threads of articles have offended you, and again if you have read any articles which promote women being good wives, then you can fwd me the links and I would be more than happy to post these articles on.

      Wassalaamu ‘alaykum.
