The Example Of The Scholars, By Al-Aajurree
“They are a lantern for the servants and a lighthouse for the countries. They are the caretakers of the Ummah, springs and wells of wisdom, and they infuriate the devils. The hearts of the people of truth are enlivened by them, and they kill the hearts of the deviants.
Their example upon the earth is like the stars in the sky. One seeks guidance by them in the darkness of land and sea. If the stars become obscure and indistinct, then they (i.e. the people) become confused. When darkness departs by them (the stars and scholars), then they (the people) are enlightened and granted vision.”
