When Ibn Hazm was debating with the Christians and they brought the books of the Raafidhah (the Shee’ah) to refute him, he said:

“The Raafidhah are not Muslims, their statements cannot b held against the Deen. This is a sect that came about after the death of the Prophet (saw) by about 25 years. It is a sect that is similar to the Jews and Christians in terms of disbelief and dishonesty.”

Abandoning Fanatical Bigotry Of The Scholars, By ‘Umar Baazmool

Shaykh ‘Umar Baazmool said:

“From their rights is abandoning fanatical bigotry of their statements without proof. There is a difference between glorifying the scholar, having reverence of him, and knowing his rights and having fanatical bigotry of his statement when it conflicts with the evidence.

Bigotry is blameworthy and it comes from ignorance. Revering and honoring the scholar comes from the virtue of knowledge and the legislation to which he calls. Abandoning fanatical bigotry of the scholars’ statements that conflict with evidence is not from the perspective of deeming the statements of the scholars to be useless and neglecting their rights. Rather, it is singling out following for the infallible one (saw) and it is from preserving the rights of the scholars.”

‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab (ra) once saw a man speaking to a woman on the roadside. He began to beat him with his stick and asked the man why he was shamelessly speaking to a woman by the roadside. The man answered that the woman was his wife.

‘Umar then said: “Then why are you discussing your personal matters by the roadside and enticing the people to listen to your personal conversation?

He answered: “O leader of the believers, we have just arrived in Madeenah and were discussing where we should stay.

When ‘Umar heard his answer he apologizes to the man, gave him his stick, and ordered him to take his revenge.  The man said: “I forgive you for the sake of Allaah.” However ‘Umar insisted that the man take the stick and seek out his revenge, but the man refused every time. Thereby, ‘Umar said: “Your reward will be with Allaah.

1) Imitating them in dress and lingo

2) Residing in their lands and not moving from their lands to the lands of the Muslims to save one’s Deen (i.e, hijrah).

3) Travelling to the lands of the kuffaar for tourism and vacation.

4) Helping them, giving them victory over the Muslims, speaking well of them and defending their honour.

5) Seeking their aid, trusting them, putting them in positions to know the secrets of the Muslims and making them advisors.

6) Using their calendar instead of the Islaamic calendar and, more importantly, observing the holidays on their calendar, like Christmas etc.

7) Observing their holidays or helping them to make that celebration or congratulating them for their holidays or just being present at their celebrations.

8) Speaking well of them through what they have of material wealth and being satisfied with their behaviour without looking at their deen which is a false deen.

9) Using their names.

10) Supplicating for them and being compassionate to them.

Camel Hump Hijabs

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (saw) said:

“There are two types of people from the dwellers of the fire that I have never seen before. (The first is) women who will be clothed yet naked, inclined (towards disobeying Allaah) and inclining others, their heads will be like slanted humps of the bukht camel. They will not enter Paradise, nor will they perceive its odour even though its odour can be perceived from a distance of such and such.” [Saheeh Muslim & Ahmad]

Shaykh Al-Albaani was asked:

“What is the ruling on a woman gathering her hair above her neck and behind her head such that it takes the form of a ball, whilst knowing that when the woman puts on her hijaab, her hair shows from behind it?”

He answered:

“This is a mistake that many hijaabi women commit where they collect their hair in a bundle behind their heads so that it sticks out behind them even though they place their hijaab over it. This act contradicts one of the conditions of the hijaab, which I have mentioned in my book “The Muslim Woman’s Hijaab in Light of the Quraan and Sunnah”. One of these conditions was that the garment she wears should not describe the shape of any of her body parts. Based on this, it is not permissible for a woman to bundle her hair behind her head or on the side of her head to the point that it sticks out like this, thus revealing – even if it is unintentional – the fact that she is either long-haired or short-haired. So she must let it hang down and not put it up.”
